A very nice composition Lori, I don't think the cars distract from the image. Beautiful country Newport is, the wife and I used to visit the area once a year. Love the tide pools out there. Regards Lee

Hi Lori, Very nice shot, with the wheel in the foreground, adding a lot of tension to the harbour scene behind it... Well balanced composition.
As for cloning out the cars, I think that would've benefitted the composition, but a hell of a job to do, as you would also have to recreate the reflections. And while you were at it, cloning out the foreground (except for the wheel, obviously) would've been tempting too....;o)
Good choice for leaving them in, eventhough they are a tad distracting, it saved you alot of frustrations and hassle...
Cheers,
Hugo

Dear Lori, Nice composition here. i agree with you about not taking the cars out. Don't really think they're a distraction. Using the "big wheel" so prominently was a really good move since it's so eye catching. Good work, Take care, Mark PS. Sorry about the slight absence (STILL don't have E-mail) but I've been busy getting my B/P up over certain "events" this week (as usual). MUST get my laptop fixed/replaced. TTYS

A nice harbor scene. At first I thought the object on the left was too much but upon looking further it seems to break up just another boat scene. Well done. Don.

Excellent use of foreground to start scanning the other elements, I think both idea(cars) is to me correct if it bother you then get rid of them if not just leave them there as they are part of the scene, splendid image.Saeed
