Tony this is a wonderful shot! the contrast in textures works very well. The last light gleaning against a dramatic sky is such a strong element too. With the apex of the hill right in the middle of your image I think you may be losing out on a little more potential tension. But I'm not sure about that until I have seen it. I guess it's a little rule I have for myself. Just the same it's a very successful shot.
