Thank you. Yes, many technical problems I have with this photo. If I were to do it again, I would change a lot of the things you mentioned. I really love the composition and subject on this photo though, and the paint on his hands (he's a painter as his day job) is one of my favorite touches. I told him not to get cleaned up after work, that the paint would be a good touch. Glad he listened to me.
I really like the expression, and his hands look very natural. I also like the point of view on this. If you were to do this again, i would suggest using a reflector of some sort to get more light on the subjects face. I like the crop, except for it being so tight on the bottom. I think the banjo needs more room to move. was this person painting just prior to the shoot? I like it!
