I think I really like you Sandy. You seem to be one of the photographers with guts. For myself I was realy relieved when I read it was a make-up effect (although I think I would have figured out by myself because the poor guy/girl? would have been dead by the time he reached this sorry state). A 7X5, although I won't get it to my favorites (LOL).

Blaxxxx!!!! A my! Thanks God the clarity isn't the best because of the movie capture! :) Just joking! Surely something very dramatic! I think that this is legal. Bye!

surrealistic..... not at all scary to me, but I am reminded of the fact that beauty is only skin deep....don't we all look like this under the thin veneer that covers us? great representation ! jon

well, the idea was a person who had a mentally disorder. He has bad visions and halluzinations - so the things we see aint true. Its just something he feels and sees if you understand what Im saying. So there was nothing toture in the picture from something else than his own mind! Well, hope you understand my lousy english - Im a norwegian you know ;)
And hmm, well about that commenting thing. Personally I comment pieces one time at another, but I dont expect any comments still I give a positive comment. I feel that gets a bit false. I see you have a total different style than me, so Im surprised you actually liked some of my works :p But anyway this piece here is cool, and I saw some others I liked so have a nice evning you too ;)

i suppose it is as were the second one you did was also... which i thought was good... the third photo you posted was to me worse... i think it was the splatter of blood..it turned my stomach...to me it seemed very violent.. i have a right to think what i like as do you...
i notice you admitted on your own thread that it was over the edge...as i did here initially... but yes you are right... it is on the gross side... but to me it is the look in the eye... the only thing i saw in your photo was someone who looked like they were being held down and tortured...
i wouldn;t compare the two.
thanks for you comments and take good care.. i also notice when i had something nice to say about your first photo i heard nothing...not one comment about mine...but when i call you out on something you have something to say...
thanks again.... :) and have a good evening... sandy

Is it real? It might be those plastinated cadavers one artist in Germany has been showing in numerous museums. I guess this can be categorized as journalism, from how you acquired it. It is found art as well; your interpretation.

interesting that you did this - one, because i did a tv shot a few months back and had to wrestle with my ethics on whether it is valid picture - of course it is.. and especially if the subject matter can be percieved as art - love this gorgeous (girl)? she has eyes for me.. ;)

thank you two for your time in posting a comment. ya know i wasn't sure the reaction i would get from this..i am not sure of the reaction i get looking at it myself.. it really moves me in a way...for me the visual doth not compare to what one can feel inside.. i suppose i wanted to show from an exterior method..the turmaoil that can happen within. which i am sure we all know quite well...
who is mr. greenrose richard? thank you again.. and don;t worry its just a pic.. :)

Definatly has a lot of impact, unpleasant subject matter, nothing wrong with that though, very ofter it is the job of artists to explore and expose us to the not so nice realities of the world. Good Work!! ray w.
