Excellent shot and subject Liz-- like the dark background too. I'd probably crop tighter, but then that's me, and I sometimes get into trouble by cropping too tight. Nice shot. On 2nd look, this has really vibrant colors and superb sharpness-- really the whole works is good. Cheers. Craig

Nice break from the rules. I had a go at eliminating the lighter areas at the base of the photo.

great colours. great light, but whats on the bottom? those lines?, there a little distracting, nit much, but a little
and for a title......how about...blushing flower.
cause it looks like its blushing around the rim.
good work

Great composittion, focus and colors. I would call it "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder".

What about "Looking away" ... looks like a "shy" flower to me, but it's back is beautiful too! I like this composition a lot Elizabeth! Regards,
Diana.

I think "Camera-shy Flower" would be a suitable title :) This is an interesting and creative perspective!

Beautiful colors on the petals, and I'm impressed with the sharpness as well.

Nicely done!

Peace,
T.
