About	These carriages are used in Istanbul, Princess Islands where itis prohibited the Cars..Only way is bycyles and horses. But unfortunetely major parts of these horses are forced to work Hours by hours under in all air conditions. So every year quite a number of horses are death .So If you pass by from the Princess Islands please prefer Bycyles instead of horses. They deserve more respect and better working conditions..

I agree with you 100%. These animals are not for human entertainment. I do not condone any mistreatment of animals for tourism at all. For me the only place I would get a thrill out of seeing an animal would be in the wild or at a push, a wildlife park / zoo where they are cared for and there for their best interests.This picture makes me sad.

They do indeed Mesut, as you say poor things.
Much healthier for people to ride a bicycle anyway.
So many animals suffer in the name of tourism.
