What a great nature shot. I just love the intensity in the birds eye. Cute and simplistic title for the picture. Nice clear greenish background, the bird pearching on top of the straight piece of wood makes the shot more effective, emphasing line. Would have been more plain if he had only been on the grass. Sometimes what is around the photo subject helps make the photo effective too. Nice work.

I love the detail on the birds feathers. Another nice one. The only thing I would probably do is crop it a little more on the top, but then it would destroy the square composition. In any case you are going to make me go buy another lens. Listen, I know it's not the lens. The photographer is the one that takes the shot but having nice sharp lenses enhances your vision.
