About for those of you who are unfamiliar with Zi he is a friend of mine who lives on the streets of London up on the Edgware Road, he has had one leg amputated due to a road accident and now gets around on a adapted bread trolley.
The night before this was taken he had to leave his trolley outside McDonalds as they don't allow him inside with it, so in he goes in on his hands to get his cup of tea to return to find that his trolley has been stolen, it turns out that the 'Co-Co Cops' (Community Support Orificers) removed it for being a security threat, that’s right a security threat! (Don't ask!)
Poor Zi had to walk up the Edgware Road on his hands, which is about about half a mile to get to where he sleeps (Underneath the A40 flyover) the following morning he found as three legged chair that someone threw out which he made short work of removing the remaining legs and used it as a protection for his bum - The floor in winter is very cold you know!
2 day's later we got him a new trolley.
He will not use a wheelchair as he feels vulnerable and says he's safer on the floor that way when he's attacked all he has to worry about is the feet, he has a point, round here there are some nasty little villans.

Hugh

I shot that whole day and got some great work done, we (me Zi & little John Piggot) spent the day together & went to see my exhibition at the City Hall,

You've shot this from a great perspective, Hugh, being, Zi's, and the composition and tones are quite effective. An interesting background story, Zi sounds like a very independent and tough character. I'm glad he has people like you to look out for him in his somewhat precarious circumstances. Well done, on all counts!
Dave.
