Hi Alessandro, Thanks for your comment. You are right; the exposure is difficult in these guys. Those combinations of dark and whites are tough. To get the details in the whites I decreased the exposure to -0.3 to -0.7 and then I have to select the greens with the lasso tool and apply brightness and contrast independently from the rest of the image. Hi Joggie, Thank you for your comment. Actually these guys are not very common. I have only seen then in three different locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, and when they are present, it’s only one or a very few males. I found this one thanks to Larry Selman, a great photographer from Santa Cruz, CA. This male and 4 males live in a small pond inside a retirement community in a secluded town called Scott’s Valley, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, CA. Take care my friend. Yamil
