Hopefully Ive the floor to say my idea about your shot ^_^.
first of al that's very sweet. I can imagine the taste.
Which is the secret of this shot's success,whilst professionally adjusted set of elements,postive and negative spaces.
It's reflecting a very intimate sense of two mates, having the same birth point.
that's very meaningful to me. once again I like to say patten in nature, are a very safe place to lean on, and take rest.

I was thinking of a series of shots where the subject was consumed - wouldn't really work with 2 cherries but might be ok with something bigger or a bunch of grapes.
I remember seeing a time-lapse film of maggots attacking a dead bird - fascinating stuff !

This is high quality commercial image, what a sharp detail and distinguish material is depicted on this cherry, I almost grab it, but empty handed. Also shadow intensify is just right, soft and tender on the white background. You have achived perfect plastic on this image!

Awesome job Peta!!
The lighting is sweet and simple.. perfect! The composition, and flaoting image is wonderful! It's an image that holds the viewer, and attracts you to keep looking deeper for the details. Very nice!
The reflections have just enough information to pull as much depth, and texture out of the reds.
