Paul, you right candid is so much different and it's good that UF finally recognized that. I like shooting candids and have noticed a lot of UF'ies is doing the same. The one could go to fashion as well with only a bit better lighting. Wow Paul, you have plenty of great models there in SA - have to come down one day for a couple of good candid shots. Cheers, NJ

Paul, thanks for pushing and getting that category added, I know I'll be using it as Candid photography is one of my favorite methods.
I like this capture...great pose for a teenager (as a teacher, I see this on the kids in school ALL the time) and the lighting is like you placed it.

In my own judgement, 'People' is for more than one person in the shot, since it IS a plural.

Candid = un-posed
....but what is people for?

Her pose and the mixed light caught my eye, and about two seconds after I snapped this shot, her friend emerged, her pose shifted, and they walked away. ;)

Great candid shot of the typical "I'm a teenage beauty and must always maintain my pose".... because you never know when.
