About I observed this woman fishing, she had fish on both of those lines. Seemed to pause and ask herself which one do I haul in first? I am posting a b&w conversion of this in comments. Which one would you choose?

I plan to make a collage of the woman and the net with her catch. I got one shot of her heaving it back into the water. Watch this spot! lol

Hi Laura.....you're asking me again for a decision:(:( OK.... the colour one. Why? I like the backgrond and foreground colours which really add to the scene and they do nothing in the mono version. A dramatically bold crop top and bottom WOULD give you a good mono composition IMO. NOW, another matter my dear Laura.....You should also post the net/basket shot for this is another very well composed shot with the fisherlady seemingingly surrounded by the sea....Great stuff with all shots sweetie. Very best wishes to you....Ray

I think colour adds to this shot, Laura, so that's the one I'd pick. Great catch of the moment though, (yours I mean!).
Dave.

Kathy I was amazed at how many fish this woman had caught. Here is a shot of the net/basket she was storing them in.

I like both shots, Laura, but I think I prefer the color. The details are good in this shot, as is the composition. That lady had a problem that most fishermen would LOVE to have!

Funny shot, on this one i like the color version, with all the blue (her and water) against the neutrals of the sand, although both are great. Alison

Don't know which ever one is pulling the hardest for a bigger fish. I need to do some more of that this summer if I go back home. Excellent photograph and capture.

I like the color shot the best, good title, the whole situation with the 2 fishing-rods seems to be a little bit too much for her. Made me laugh.
Take care,

Klaas

I like the colours shot as well Laura. The lines from the horizon and the poles are working for you as is the texture in the sand. B&W doesn't add anything to these strong elements. In MHO.
