Yes Heather, you're right, the benches are new. The church is nowadays used for weddings etc in the summer. It was originally built in the 13th century and then deserted in the early 17th do. It's a very peaceful place.
Of course you are right about the sky too..

Like the colours & feeling of calm. I suspect that if we get any more height there's washed-out sky just above where its cropped?
This place looks cool (no pun intended) - I'd love to visit. The benches actually look new - are you sure nobody is still using this place?

Nice shot but it seems that there isn't much depth in it. The shot might benefit if you used a different focal length.

Otherwise, the lighting is nice and it conveys a feeling of serenity. Would be nice if we could see a little more height in the shot as well.
