Hi Dave,
This is a great little winter scene! I think the best thing about it is the way the shadows are so effective in the snow. They are there, but not distracting. In fact they add to the atmosphere beautifully. One small thing and I'm sure you have thought about this too. Too bad about the foot prints in front of the first bench :(

I love bench scenes. They always are so peaceful and welcoming. I really like how the sun is comming down the hill trying to warm the day. Very serene.

Very nice shot Dave. I also liked "Frost is in the Air". Lighting, contrast and subject matter is excllent. Great example of how a simple nature shot can produce a stunning picture. Happy New Year and all the best in 2006.

This conveys the title very well. I get cold just looking at it. But where is the red-jacketed individual sitting on the bench necessary to complete the picture? Well, I suppose not too many people were out and about just then. Your exposure on the snow looks dead on.
