This a great capture, Jay, you captured his soul. You are a great street photographer, I would like to go for a walk with you in any street all over the world. Regards.

Jay, this is an excellent capture of character! Keep up your very good work! I can see this is one of those very expensive books of famous portraits, you know the real thick book of black and white portraits.

Very little if anything I would change here. The tight crop works well. perhaps a tad soft but I've seen many uploaded photos that are a bit soft here.

Extremely striking portrait, Jay. The thing that leaps out at me is not so much the detail of the beard as the remarkable lines and creases on his forehead and under his eyes. Definitely the signs of a man who logged a lot of miles in his life. Great work.

A nice portrait. I agree with Scott about the dodging though. Very nice nonetheless!

A man living in the city with no home and no prospects. His clothes and positions were basically held together with Duct tape. I talked to him for a little while, paid him to do some artwork and said our goodbyes. Tapeman is how I remember him.

Very nice Jay. Lots of character in that face that is exaggerated by the tight framing. I'm curious about the title also.

Jay-

I like the composition and the tone of the image. THe detail in the beard is great. I was wondering if you could dodge his right eye just a bit and bring it forward out of the darkness. What is the story behind the title?
