  Q. TRIPOD

Asked by DK PERRYMAN PHOTOGRAPHY    (K=65) on 9/23/2005
I am looking for a tripod with a neck that you can "crank it up and down, with a handle". My uncle used to have one. I would like to know who still makes them. If you going to use an 8x10 view camera, you don't want to be pulling it up and down. Thank you for all the help you can give me.

Majestic (Bencher, www.bencher.com) are good for LF, along with others like Bogen/Manfrotto who have some geared column tripods.

Best,
Helen

LF= Big cam right and big cam = heavy? so it has to be stable. wow seems like a lot for a good picture...
