  Q. web stock sale

Asked by Morten Heiselberg    (K=45) on 1/1/2007
I am looking into selling some of my picture on the web. I am looking for a easy softwear that can showe my portfolio and where people can make a search. I have had a look on the internett and found some very good programs, but they are to expencive and have to many functions. I just need a nice and basic software, where I can download my pictures. Do anyone know of such a software? I work on Mac.

It seems you don't have any experience in or knowledge about running a website (and especially an online shop).
It would be best for you to work with an existing reseller, let them handle all the technical details (and payment processing) for you.
It will cost you a percentage (possibly a big percentage) but it saves a lot of headaches and expensive investment you're likely not qualified (technically and financially) to make.

How about E-Bay? Not as "quality" but a good start to see if there's even a market before investing.

Take care on ebay. It's slipping some because the rules are not always enforced. Definitely beware. It's great when nothing goes wrong, and buyer and seller are honest. In my experience, that's the norm. But when you get a bad seller, or even bad buyer - it might end up being a complete writeoff with no help from ebay or paypal. You just don't know.

I think contracting for sale is not bad. After awhile, one might begin to think they can do this or that task, themselves, or at least farm it out to others who are knowledgeable who will do it better in some way, perhaps even cheaper. Step by step.
