  Q. Adobe RGB
Dave Arnold
Asked by Dave Arnold    (K=55680) on 8/14/2008
Are there any negatives to shooting in Adobe RGB? Any problems down the workflow line that I should expect? Somebody suggested I begin shooting in it instead of sRGB but I'm not sure if she understands the "why's" enough to recommend it.

Here is a great article on that very subject:

sRGB is usually a better choice, especially if web or print is your final objective.
If you are processing from ACR to Photoshop you may have to make some changes in your workflow or ACR settings if PS "burps" when loading from ACR or when attempting to save a .PSD file. Walk through the steps manually and see if ACR needs a setting change.
