Rashad, is that your image? How did you keep the bird still long enough to get that shot? Was it entirely moon and start lit or did you have a light?

Dear Chris Mathers , the is Shaheen one of the falcon races, Arab in the Gulf pay a lot of money for these birds and they traine them to hunt for another bird called Habara.

These Falcon are of very well displined nature with their traniers and it do not take a long time to to capture this image at all, i also used a flash to capture this falcon.

Thank you and wishing you all of the best my friend Chris, I posted a site which help might help some people with night photography, the falcon is was a sign I post after posting any of my comments or threads not refering to the subject.

Thank you again my friend and best wish's

So if Rashed died . . . are these his images? If so, why are you using them (and his name)?

Regards,

if the story we were told is correct, it's his brother continuing his account in his honour.

So far there's little to doubt that story, if it's not true he's pulled the longest disappearing act since he became a member.

Jeroen (and Ali) -

I'm not even going to get into the is he or isn't he - it's a nameless, faceless internet so whatever (all due respect). . . I'm just wondering what's being presented. Rashed I knew for a LONG time and he told me himself about his heart trouble. Years ago. I thought he did great work. Ali told me he was posting Rashed's images.

I don't feel comfortable critiquing the images since it can't help Rashed and seems disrespectful. But Ali who was Ali for Rashed has changed names several times and I had mentioned to him he should do some of his own stuff. Now who knows what goes up? Rashed's or Ali's? Clearly, he claims now that this is his image (Ali's) and not Rashed's.

Anyway, I'll refrain from commenting or critiquing out of respect for Rashed . . . unless Ali clearly identifies the shot is his.

Having discussed this civilly with Ali . . . I was surprised, hence the question. It really was in poor taste, and I apologize to Ali . . . But I really - simply - want to know WHO is the creator of the images . . . or are they now a "mixed" bag from both?

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Jeroen/Doyle > it is my understanding that Rashed is alive, well and reposting here....for whatever his reasons, these are his photos posted by him...perhaps an ill thought out prank by a young man who has talent and only wanted his work to be recognized by many...tho' i don't condone pranks of this nature, nevertheless i feel better knowing a young man close to my own son's age is indeed amongst the living and still shootin'....hopefully he has learned something and will not pull such a stunt again elsewhere online...

if this is not the case, then let us know otherwise...i can only go by what i have observed and been told by those close to him...

peace, gayle (not gangsta Nikon...the "G" is my initial and i am a dedicated Nikon shooter)

Well this last few posting's had me worried there.
Having talked online to rashed a few time in real time it would certainly be a loss for myself to hear of such a kinda hearted person gone.
Night time shoots are always a tricky beast and the results are usually a mixed bag for myself.

Ill be checking out that link thanks rashed.
:)
