Michael: No, the wife got tired of tossing the birds past the front of the lens, though. Just kidding. There were around 50,000 geese in the area. No patience required at all, just have a large memory card. Thank you for the kind comment, however.

Christine: I did not train them. My wife grew extremely tired of throwing them across my field of view, however. They weight 6-7 lbs. each, you know. She groused somewhat louder than the geese, in fact. They also tend to defecate copiously as well so it was an odious, not to mention odorous, task at best. Ah, the things we do for a good pic sometimes.
