Spectacular. The lone tree (or what's left of it) admiring the beauty of the distant hills and the terrific sky. Beautiful composition. I love the sense of distance in this. MAry

Great composition, Rob. DoF should extend from the tree (which is the Pof) to at least the hyperfocal distance (for your lens). Always base these exposures on the highlights in color, i.e. the centre of the sky just right off center. The rest of the image could be pulled up with PS for balance. Use a skylight filter on the lens to reduce distant haze an increase color saturation. Cropping the tree about a 1/2 inch to the left will add more impact. A good view and nicely composed.

Great colour in the sky Rob. The colours have a lovely softness to them especially the Autumnal colours caught in the tree-tops. A lovely composition with the lone deadened tree in the foreground reminding us that nothing is forever. Well spotted and taken Rob..Best wishes..Ray

Very nice composition and lovely subject. The colours are very soft and pleasing to the eye. The last autumn leaves hanging onto the treetops are nice splashes of colour. I love the sky colour variations and interesting cloud formations. The lone tree gives me something to contemplate while I enjoy the scenery of the rolling hills taking me back into the distance. A pleasure to view this image. Very nice indeed.
Cheers - Ann :)

Great shot Rob great colours throughout the shot, the only thing i can pick is that the tree looks to be out of focus, and in a shot like this where it is promadent it needs to be in focus
