About These DF's can be easily approached if done slowly. I have gotten to within 2 inches of these guys on several occasions.

Wonderful shot. Always amazing, how 'alien' the most common sights can seem when viewed close up. Another fantastic '7'!

Perfect! Always a pleasure to view your work. I need to develop your stealth as I can never seem to get within about 2 feet of a DF without scaring them away. Wonderful photo all the way around! Dwight

Hello Joe,

Thanks for your comments.
If you get time come out to Lake Martin Saturday.
Myself, David Chauvin (You might have met him at the lake before) and another photographer Sam Alfano from the North Shore will be out there.
We will probably just shoot some early morning landscapes and maybe look for a bird or two. I realize that there are not many birds this time of year but you just never know.

Hey Ronnie, don't poke his eyes out with that thing. Great Macro, You're the best at it! You need to write a book on the subject so us beginners can follow in your footsteps. Again wonderful Image, and congratulations on your previous front page image.
