En Chile tambié se le conoce como Palo del Borracho... y dicen que es el único árbol capaz de despejar instantáneamente los grados de alcohol de los borrachos que a él se arriman... ¡ Y de veras que no! El tronco llega a tener unos 30 cm de diametro, las espinas unos 2 a 3 cm y la altura alrededor de los 5 metros todo en un ejemplar de unos 4 o 5 años.

Son púas bien grandes Michele. No son espinas como las de las rosas. El tamaño puede llegar como a 2,5 cm. Un abrazo y gracias por tus siempre bellos comentarios e interés!
