Jan, I decided that Boston would be a lot safer if I didn't try to drive there at all... driving on the "wrong side" when you don't know where you're going through a demolition derby is not my idea of fun! And yes, we were nearly flattened by a couple of taxis - we weren't ready for the drive through the red light if you're turning right rule! Where we're from a red light means stop! It's a wondefrful city though - we loved it. Ed

Ed-- Boston is a fun place to visit as long as you do not have to drive a car there. I have always found driving there somewhat like demolition derby. I did find some great apples; I bought a half dozen of domestic Honeycrisp apples and they are top notch. This is a good time of the year for domestic apples. Enjoy your return home with new eyes. --Best to you, Jan

Thanks Jan - I hope you found and enjoyed your apples! I found Boston was just full of appealing still life "in the street." I'm starting to look at my home town here in Australia with new eyes. Ed

Thanks-- I am on my way out to the grocery store and you inspired me to pick up a bag of apples! Nice grab for an appealing still life "in the street". --Best regards, Jan
