Stefan, Gooday.
My name is Sam Graziano III, I wanted to take the time to give you a brief explanation of how to achieve these types of images.
Equipment List.
Good Digital Camera or Film. I use a Canon Eos 5D Good Lens I use a Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 EX DG HSM IR Filter I use two types Hoya R72 and Hoya R90 Steady Tri-pod. I use a Manfrotto Bogen Shutter Release A Last but not least....Good subject matter.
As Far as Post Processing its simple.
With the Image opened in Photoshop. First thing you do is duplicate the image to create a second layer. then go into the Channel Mixer and use the following settings.
Red Channel should read
Red 100
Green 0
Blue 0 Change it to read
Red 0
Green 0
Blue 100
Then go to the blue channel and do the same in that channel
Red 100
Green 0
Blue 0 What this does is reverse the color channels After you do that, then you are free to do your normal work flow on it. I hope that this helps. If you ever need any tutorials please feel free to drop me a email to Brioamore@gmail.com
Best Regards
Sam Graziano III

Every time i look through i see amazing photographs and this one is no exception. I love the smooth, deep colour and clarity which is what im after. I would love to know how to take shots like this, so if you could specify the IR filter used and breif summary of the post prossing work done it would be much appreciated. Excellent photograph ;)

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Glad this picture works for you. I was using Nikon D70 with Hoya R72 IR filter on 18-70mm lens. I should given slightly more space to the object. Thanks Jane. ;) Cheers!
