Thanks for the comments. Yes I have made the move. Ottawa for now is home base. I am looking at Nanaimo, BC and have asked a Real Estate agent to look around for us for a potential fall move.

Very nicely done shot of this aspect of Parliament Hill and the Library, Gaetan! I like the way you've partially framed it with the tree, and the foreground colour splashes add a lot of interest.

Wow, awesome photo of this lush green Alpine meadow with Maroon Bells in the background Gaetan and even more awesome words in your "about"... exactly my feelings when I lived and hiked amongst all that splendor in Colorado. Imagine my shock having to move from this place to the concrete jungle called Chicago! UGH... bad memories! lol

Probably this is the best picture of the natural beauty of the USA I have ever seen. Reminds me pretty many movie scenes, fits to several descriptions from american novels, I can just simply imagine an unhappy author just feeling lost in this beauty and would feel so happy to visit that place and see it just by myslef and real. Colours are like from the oil painting and the whole icture should be placed in a gallery. I really like it so much. Hm, reminds me also one video by Metallica, the band which is really to me a sort of sign of the USA. Wish to disappear there :)

Reminds me of so many great captures in the old "Arizona Highway" magazines from the 50's and 60's. Just a wonderful landscape with the pines as a reference to the space beyond!!

Incredible, I like the low angle, perhaps the foreground could do with a little boost in exposure, while keeping the contrast with the beautifully lit mountains
