Thank you for your kind comments. WRT metering procedures, I use the Ansel Adams ZOne system (yes it works for color as well) Depending whether I am shooting slide or film, my first light meter take is the brightest (slide) or darkest point (film) in my picture. Then for slides I will push the readind to a level 7 or 7.5 and film for a level 2.5 or 3 (on a scale of 10) Then I will take a series of light meter shots at the high end of the picture with one take the darkest (for slides or take a series at the darker end of the image with one at the lightest point for film. After that my meter tells me what EV to set for a level 5 shot. Takes about five to 10 minutes to take but it is worth it.

Thank you for your remarks. In this scene I would have liked to have had the opportunity to have had more time to compose and work the three objects so that they could have more synergy. But, I had to go on a ledge with a steep drop all around and I made haste in order that this photo not become my last :-)

I would have tried to make the rocks a bit lighter to see more detail. Otherwise a good photo.

Good shot overall, however I don't think the soft focus works here. If it would have been a facial shot only, then the use of the soft focus would have been good.

Overall a good shot but nothing seems to jump out. The sky also appears to be washed out. The reflection of the tree in the water is quite good.
