Beautiful shot Ari! There is a sadness in there, too. Well done!

Very cool image manipulation. Probably the first time I have seen this kind of mood provoked in color. Nice work!

Fantastic portrait. The lighting and contrast help to capture his character.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will try a tighter crop and see how it goes. If it works, I may repost.

Thanks for the comment Vanessa! I know that taking a shot of a real cat-skull is a little creepy, that's why I posted it so close to Hallowe'en. Right now I'm using it as my desktop wallpaper on my work computer. Most people find it creepy.

Hey Justin! That doesn't look too bad! I still like the original though. Nice try. Maybe I will try and re-create the shot during the day to see if I can get something different out of it.

Beautiful and humorous shot. There is something wonderful about capturing falling water. I think your model needs a blanket though. Maybe a better title would have been "Shrinkage."

Its a good thing you listened to your Mom,Dan. What I like about this shot is that the decay of the structure looks neither sad nor tragic. It simply looks natural, and therefore necessary. Well captured and composed.

Thanks for the comments Justin. This was shot outside at night, and my lens was pointing skyward, so I really can't do much with the background. The night sky can only be made so light. I have already altered the brightness/contrast of the shot. Any more alteration would start to wash out the structure. However, it would probably make a pretty cool negative image.. hmmmmm.

Evocative shot! I find it disturbing that the hog head on top almost looks as if he is about to speak. Or, maybe its time for my meds.

I think the best thing about this shot is the contrast between the round lights in the foreground and the sharp angular building edges in the background. You have also captured an amazing spectum of subtle earth hues. I like this shot too.
