Hey Mario! I totally agree with everything Ron has pointed out. It´s a great, bold and nicely executed image; one that really stands out from the rest. If I was to be picky I might find the dark right corner a bit distracting from the overall composition. How did it fare in the contest?

I think it is well composed. The bat is in the right spot to bring your eye into the shot. The blood looks real and the body oof makes for a very creative shot which displays some exposure techniques off really well. Love the dof and the message could be a postive one....such as STOP Domestic Violence.

Unusual and creative shot. In my opinion, I think it might would have been better if the tear right at the eye should be a little narrower, to appear more authentic. Though my comment is insigificant, this image is very creative and well thought out. Perfect exposure and composition.

Hey Mario je regardais cette photo et je me demandais si tu connaissais le travail des Becher ou même de l'école de Düsseldorf, Va voir aussi les composition de Andreas Gursky, cela pourrait te donner de bonne piste pour un travail plus personnel!!!!

Encore une fois beau jeu dans la composition des couleur, tu as su dynamiser pour permettre à l'oeil du récepteur de parcourir la surface. C'est de la photo de professionnel, Le seul conseil que je te donnerais c'est de trouver une ligne directrice, un projet d'intentions: une démarche de création qui te serait personnelle. je crois que tu peux laisser de côté l'exploration , tu connais très bien ta caméra, Donne du contenu maintenant!!!!!!!!!! humm encore une fois c'est excellent, finalement je m'aperçois que l'utilisation du B/w t'ouvre d'importantes avenues d'exploration. Beau jeu de contraste noir et blanc, soit dans ce cas-ci prison vs liberté c'est excellent!!!! Le format vertical dynamise la composition! Rien à dire pour améliorer!!!!!Great shot

It's 100% real, it's the weight of the snow that crush the bike during winter. His owner must have forgotten this one, locked on a fence in a alley on Montréal.
Photoshop was use for B&W conversion + a photo filter (sepia) effect. Color version show some rust that is aesthetic.

In fact, I never tell clearly that the bass cabinet in the background is not added digitally. I just tweek some settings in PS to get them to be more visible.
Now, years later, I found that it look like 2 pic layered. But it isn't.

j'aime particulièrement cette photo, l'aspect très statique de l'automobile, et l'effet de mouvement du train à l'arrière!!La composition est excellente, bien que le poteau du feu clignotant aurait gagné à être moins centré, toutefois je ne veux pas dire qu'autrement aurais été mieux!!!!!!!! Phyl
